IMPROVED SECURITY


MANAGE TRANSACTION LIMITS:

Increase or decrease your transaction limits, whenever you need to, for bills
payments, fund transfers, prepaid reloading and ATM transactions.



Step 1

Tap the Settings icon on the upper
left corner of the dashboard


Step 2

Tap Pay & Transfer


Step 3

Select Pay Limit, Transfer Limit, Reload
Limit or ATM Transaction Limit


Step 4

Tap the dropdown arrow beside
your current limit


Step 5

Scroll to select the new limit
you want and tap Done


Step 6

Tap Save Changes


Step 7

For limit increase, you will be asked
to Confirm to proceed


Step 8

You will be asked to Approve
via Secure2u


Step 9

Increase in limit will reflect after 12 hours;
decrease in limit will apply immediately

Important Reminders
  • Your selected transaction limit will be your total daily shared limit across all your accounts for the chosen transaction type.
  • When increasing limits, the new limit will reflect after twelve (12) hours, for your security. You can still transact with the current limit.
  • When decreasing limits, the new limit will reflect immediately after you tap “Save Changes”.
  • For transaction types with “No Limit” as the default limit, the “No Limit” option will no longer be available once you adjust your transaction limit via M2U PH App; the available maximum limit will be the highest available limit in the dropdown list.
  • Management of transaction limits will only be applicable to the Individual customers and Sole Proprietor customers.

SECURE LOCK: TEMPORARILY DEACTIVATE M2U ACCESS

Instantly freeze your M2U access in-app, in case of any suspected
unauthorized access to your M2U account.

Enter your password


Step 3

Tap Deactivate M2U Access


Step 4

Read through the important reminders on temporary deactivation of M2U access


Step 5

Tap Deactivate Now


Step 6

Tap Confirm to proceed


Step 7

You will be asked to Approve
via Secure2u


Step 8

Your M2U access is now
temporarily deactivated


Step 9

Your M2U access will remain deactivated until you request for reactivation

Important Reminders
  • Upon deactivation of your M2U access, you will be logged out of all active M2U sessions in any linked device in both M2U mobile app and internet banking.
  • To reactivate your M2U access, please call Customer Care or visit any Maybank branch near you.
  • Once your M2U access has been reactivated, it is highly encouraged that you change your password.

SECURE LOCK: PERMANENTLY BLOCK DEBIT CARD

Permanently block your Maybank Debit Card immediately in-app, in case of suspected fraud or in case you lost your card.

Tap Secure Lock under Quick Actions
on the dashboard


Step 2

Enter your password and tap Block Card


Step 3

Read the important reminders and tap Next


Step 4

Select the card to be blocked
and tap Next


Step 5

Select reason for blocking from the dropdown list and agree to the Terms & Conditions


Step 6

Tap Confirm


Step 7

You will be asked to Approve
via Secure2u


Step 8

Your selected card is now permanently blocked


Step 9

Your blocked debit card will appear faded
and can no longer be selected

Important Reminders
  • Once you have permanently blocked a debit card, you can no longer use the card for transactions. You may request for a card replacement, subject to applicable fees, via Customer Care or any Maybank branch near you.
