    Maybank Transact 2 Win, Drive 2 Green Raffle Promo

    1. The Maybank Transact 2 Win, Drive 2 Green Raffle Promo (“Promo”) will run from October 15, 2023 to December 31, 2023 (“Promo Period”).

    ELIGIBILITY

    1. The Promo is open to an existing Maybank Philippines, Inc. (“MPI”) customer who:
      1. Has an active, verified, and qualified Maybank Deposit Account (See Section 3 for excluded account types) during the Promo Period
      2. Is a Filipino Citizen with Philippine residence address
      3. Has a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) that matches with Maybank’s records and signature-bearing Government-issued ID.

    1. The following Maybank Deposit Accounts and transactions are not qualified to join the Promo:
    • Corporate Account
    • Yippie/IM Teen Account
    • PVAO Pension Account
    • SSS Pensioner Account
    • US Veteran Pension Account
    • USD Savings Account
    • Time Deposit Account
    • Restricted EzySave+ Accounts (To know if your EzySave+ account is still restricted, download and open the Maybank2U PH App and check if the product name on the App dashboard is still “EzySave+ Restricted”. To request for lifting of restriction, please call the Maybank Customer Care Hotline or visit a Maybank Branch.)

    PROMO PRIZES AND CONDITIONS

    1. To automatically register for the Promo and earn the raffle entries, the Customer must perform the following transactions:

    **For Qualified Deposit Accounts, client must maintain the amount deposited until ten (10) banking days from end of the Promo in light of the Promo raffle and validation. The client will earn 10 raffle entries for every PHP50,000 of his incremental ADB increase. Refer to illustration below.

    Illustration:

    A. Incremental ADB Increase is P60,000 = Client will get 10 raffle entries.

    B. Incremental ADB Increase is P1,000,000 = Client will get 200 raffle entries

    1. To compute for the Incremental ADB increase, the Final ADB must be subtracted from the Baseline ADB.
    • Baseline ADB:
      • For account opened prior the Promo Period: This is the sum of the account’s daily ending balances from September 1 to 30, 2023 then divided by 30 days.
      • For account opened within the Promo Period: This will be zero (0).
    • Final ADB:
      • For account opened prior the Promo Period: This will be the sum of the account’s daily ending balances from October 01 to December 31, 2023 (“Qualifying Period”) then divided by days in Promo Period.
      • For account opened within the Promo Period: This will be the sum of the account’s daily ending balances from account opening date until December 31, 2023 (“Qualifying Period”) then divided by days in Promo Period.




    1. Splitting of Bills Payment transactions (e.g. PHP10,000 electricity bill paid in four (4) separate transactions of PHP2,500 each) will not be qualified for raffle entries.

    1. Selection of raffle winners is via an electronic raffle draw, which shall be conducted on January 08, 2024 through www.random.org at Maybank Corporate Centre, in the presence of a DTI representative.

    1.  A customer can only win one (1) prize throughout the Promo.

    1.  Winners must maintain an active MPI account/s within ten (10) banking days from the end of the Promo. Closed, restricted or dormant accounts will be disqualified from the Promo.

    1.  Prizes are non-transferrable to another person and are not convertible to cash.

     

    NOTIFICATION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS

    1. The winners will be notified via phone call or SMS and/or e-mail or registered mail sent to his or her residence address in MPI’s records. Instructions will be provided by the Maybank representative regarding the redemption of the prize.

    1.  MPI will announce the names of the lucky winners on MPI’s website and social media platforms within ten (10) banking days from raffle draw date.

     

    REDEMPTION OF PRIZES

    1.  To claim the Minor Prizes, winners must complete the following requirements:
      1. Visit their preferred Maybank Branch and present the following requirements:
    • Printed or e-copy of MPI’s SMS and e-mail notification on the prize won
    • Tax Identification Number (TIN) ID or latest Income Tax Return (ITR) reflecting the TIN of the winner
    • Valid, signature-bearing, Government-issued ID of the winner (e.g. Passport, Driver’s License, etc.)
      1. Payment of the prize tax equivalent to 20% of the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of the prizes
    • Winners or their authorized representatives must ensure that the nominated Maybank deposit account of the winner has sufficient funds to cover the prize tax. Upon agreement between with the winner or authorized representative and a Maybank representative, Maybank will deduct the prize tax from the winner’s deposit account within 60 calendar days.
      1. In the event that the winner is unable to personally claim the prize, the winner may assign an authorized representative who must complete requirements (a) and (b) above and also present the ff. upon redemption:
    • Notarized Special Power of Attorney authorizing the representative to redeem the prize on behalf of the winner
    • Valid, signature-bearing, Government-issued ID of authorized representative
    • A photocopy or scanned copy of 1 valid, signature-bearing, Government-issued ID of the winner with three (3) specimen signature.

     d. Winner or authorized representative must fill out and complete the required forms provided by the Maybank personnel.

    1. To claim the Grand Prize, winners must complete the following requirements:
      1. Visit their preferred Maybank Branch and present the following requirements:
    • Printed or e-copy of MPI’s SMS and e-mail notification on the prize won
    • Tax Identification Number (TIN) ID or latest Income Tax Return (ITR) reflecting the TIN of the winner
    • Valid, signature-bearing, Government-issued ID of the winner (e.g. Passport, Driver’s License, etc.)
      1. Payment of the prize tax equivalent to 20% of the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of the prizes
    • Winners or their authorized representatives must ensure that the nominated Maybank deposit account of the winner has sufficient funds to cover the prize tax.       1. Winner or authorized representative must fill out and complete the required forms provided by the Maybank personnel.
      2. Confirmation with Branch personnel of the preferred dealer and date of redemption from the dealer. Winners must allot a lead time of at least five (5) business days for Metro Manila dealers. Lead time for provincial dealers may vary depending on the merchant.

    1. Payment of the prize tax and redemption of the prizes is strictly within 60 calendar days from the date of the send-out of the SMS or e-mail notification to the winners. Prizes not claimed beyond the said period will be forfeited in favor of MPI, with prior approval of DTI.

     

    OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1.  Other costs that may be applicable to the prize or redemption of the prize such as but not limited to LTO or vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, shipping, storage fee, transfer fee, personal transportation cost and other related expenses, shall be for the account of the winners.

    1.  All questions or disputes regarding the condition of the prizes shall be resolved/handled by the merchant, car manufacturer or dealer. All units will be covered by the standard warranty provided by the manufacturer of the unit.

    1. The prizes cannot be changed to a different brand or model. The color of the car, e-Bike and e-Scooters are subject to availability with the supplier.

    1.  By participating in this Promo, the winners allow MPI to document via photos the handing of prizes. Thereafter, these photos may be used by MPI for communications, in any form or manner, related to the Promo. Unless MPI is advised in writing by the winner, s/he agrees and consents to posting of his or her name on the MPI Website and/or Maybank Philippines “Maybank” Facebook page as winner of the Promo.

    1.  MPI employees, including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not qualified to join this Promo.

    1. The Deposit Contract and the Terms & Conditions governing Maybank iSave, EzySave+ and the use of Maybank’s Maybank2U PH internet and mobile banking platform are incorporated herein by reference and made an integral part thereof.

    1.  In case of dispute on the customer’s eligibility for the promo, or questions on redemption, Maybank Philippines’ decision shall prevail with the concurrence of DTI.
