Where can I redeem my FREE BonChon treat? Do I need to present something before I redeem my free Bonchon treat?

Until August 15, 2018, you may redeem your free BonChon treat at any BonChon branch anytime. Prior to redeeming the FREE BonChon treat, you must present the SMS Code you have received in your registered mobile number and will be validated by the cashier.

Full Mechanics:
  • The Maybank Credit Card - BonChon Instant Redemption Promo ("Promotion") is open to all active credit cardholders (collectively, "Cardholders") whose credit cards have been issued by Maybank Philippines, Inc. ("MPI") and in good credit standing
  • The Promotion shall run from April 15 to June 15, 2018 ("Promo Period") and Redemption Period is from April 15 to August 15, 2018 ("Redemption Period")
  • To qualify, Cardholder should use his/her Maybank Credit Card within the Promo Period for a minimum single-receipt transaction of Php5,000, Php10,000, or Php15,000 at any local or online merchant.
  • Cardholder can claim free BonChon set meals ("Treats") at any BonChon branch nationwide. Required minimum single-receipt transaction and their corresponding Treat are specified below:

  • A single-receipt transaction is a transaction covered by a single official receipt/sales invoice and a single credit card charge slip.
  • Only straight local retail transactions and online transactions are included in this Promo.
  • The following transactions are excluded from the Promo:
    • Overseas transactions regardless of merchant category
    • Transactions from casino, quasi-cash, and government-related merchant categories
    • EzyPlan transactions such as EzyPay, EzyConvert, EzyCash, and EzyTransfer
    • Disputed, cancelled and fraudulent transactions
    • Fees and charges incurred
  • In case of split transactions which is defined as splitting of a single transaction to generate multiple charge slips shall not be allowed.
  • Splitting of a single transaction to generate multiple charge slips shall not be allowed to earn multiple Treats. A split transaction is defined as multiple transactions made with the same merchant on the same day. In any case of transaction splitting, The first transaction generated by the act of transaction splitting will earn the corresponding Treat

 

Registration and SMS Codes Mechanics

  • In order for the Cardholder to start receiving the SMS codes for Treats redemption, Cardholder may register through any of the following:
    • Maybank Credit Cardholders may call the Maybank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 588-3888 or 1-800-10-588-3888 (PLDT Customer Service)
    • By April 14, Cardholders will receive an SMS together with a unique registration code. In any point of the redemption period, Cardholder must enter the unique registration at this link:
      http://www.maybank.com.ph/en/personal/cards/promotions/bonchon-registration.page
  • For successful registration, Cardholder will automatically receive his/her SMS codes for all qualified and posted transactions after three (3) banking days from posting date.
  • If the Cardholder had valid transactions prior registration, Cardholder will receive the SMS codes retroactively
  • Cardholder can receive a maximum of eight (8) SMS codes within the Promo Period
  • The primary cardholder and all its supplementary share the allotted SMS codes. If the supplementary cardholder performs a valid transaction, the SMS codes will be received by the primary cardholders.
  • Cardholders who have received the maximum number of SMS codes will be notified via SMS.

 Redemption Mechanics

  • Cardholder must present the SMS code(s) at any BonChon branch nationwide to claim his/her Treat(s) within the Redemption Period. Redemptions without the SMS code will not be honored.
  • To redeem, Cardholder must inform the BonChon personnel the intent to use the Maybank SMS code prior to order placement.
  • One (1) SMS code is equivalent to one (1) Treat. Each SMS code can only be used once.
  • Cardholder is allowed to redeem all SMS codes received in a single branch in a single transaction
  • In case of dispute, the decision of Maybank Philippines, Inc. with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
  • Maybank Philippines, Inc. is authorized to give necessary information to its third party contractor or agent to perform or complete the redemption process of BonChon Treats.
