Maybank Wins Putra Brand of the Year Award 2015

Congratulations to Maybank for winning the Prestigious Putra Brand of the Year Award 2015.

Maybank also won Gold in Banking, Investment & Insurance Category. This year marks our 6th consecutive victory clinching the coveted Gold in the Banking, Investment & Insurance Category. Mr Michael Foong, Group Chief Strategy Officer collected the awards on behalf of Maybank at the presentation awards ceremony held on 21 August 2015 in Kuala Lumpur.

The Putra Brand Awards is the highest brand recognition event in Malaysia. It recognises the brands that most Malaysians favour and trust through a consumer survey methodology. Over 6,000 respondents voted for their favourite brands across 24 categories during a nationwide survey. The Putra Brand Awards is organised by 4As (Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Malaysia) and endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade).

BII Maybank in Top 50 brands in Indonesia

Congratulations to BII Maybank for making it to the list of 2015 BrandZ Indonesia Top 50 brands award . WPP and it subsidiary Millward Brown (MB) have conducted their inaugural BrandZ brand equity study in Indonesia, uncovering the country's top 50 most valuable brands. There are 12 Banks in the Top 50 and BII Maybank is ranked 49th.

MB describes BrandZ as 'the world's largest brand equity database and most reliable source of branding knowledge and insights'. The new BrandZ Indonesian Top 50 study combines financial data from Bloomberg and Kantar Worldpanel with consumer opinions gathered from over 350 brands in 28 categories.
