Maybank Philippines, Inc. (MPI) has relaunched its Website, www.maybank.com.ph, to provide both Maybank clients and visitors a better user experience.
The new look of the Maybank Web site is designed to provide visitors easier viewing through smartphones and smaller tablets, in step with the bank’s aim to offer a responsive site that will allow them to browse and conduct transactions in any mobile device, anytime, anywhere.
Maybank’s new Website also adopts the Metro design, also known as the tile design-- the principle design behind Windows 8—which allows users to click on any section with ease as the tiles and its adaptive design will no longer require them to pinch and zoom their screen.
Aside from providing a better user experience, the new Maybank Website also focused on the overall look and feel of the site given its vibrant colors and image-driven content as the bank aims to capture the tech savvy Generation Y.

Last year, 15% of the Philippines’ population owns a smart phone, 39% of which are subscribed to a data plan, according to On Device Research firm. Based on Maybank’s web analytics, the number of clients who used a mobile device to access the site surged by 115% in 2014 from the year before.
