Maybank STAR Christmas Fiesta proceeds donated to street children

It has always been an annual tradition for Maybank Philippines to "bring smiles to the less fortunate children" every Christmas season. For the 2010 year-end CSR activity, Maybank held a three-day STAR Christmas Fiesta bazaar which featured creatively-designed booths offering different products for sale. Aptly titled "Shop and Share", proceeds from the bazaar sales were donated to the street children being cared for by the St. John Bosco Foundation, through Rev. Fr. Elis Santos, SDB. A special program was even prepared for the beneficiaries on the last day of the bazaar, with the kids being treated to a Jollibee party and specially-prepared Maybank goodie bags filled with school supplies, medicine and vitamins, slippers and towels, and snack items - donations of generous Maybankers themselves.
