Maybank Philippines, Inc. inaugurated its 57th branch in the country last Friday, July 5th, in simple ceremonies attended by valued clients and senior officers of the bank. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly-opened Maybank Iloilo-Jaro Branch was led by prominent local businessman Henry Chuseuy, and assisted by Maybank Iloilo-Jaro Branch Head John Albert Sia, and Maybank Senior Vice President and Head for Retail Business Richard C. Lim. Fr. Rey Cerrudo, SSL of the Archdiocese of Jaro officiated the blessing of the branch premises.

Maybank Iloilo-Jaro is the second of the 25 branches Maybank is opening in the country in 2013. This brings the total number of branches in Iloilo City to 2; the first Maybank branch is located at the corner of Ledesma and Mabini Streets in the heart of the city.

On June 28th , Maybank kicked off its branch opening campaign with the inauguration of Cebu Downtown Branch. This week, two branches in the Southern Tagalog Region will be opening its doors to the banking public, one in Batangas City (July 8th) and another in Imus, Cavite (July 12th).
