Maybank expands south of Metro Manila, opens 2 new branches

Maybank Philippines continues to expand its domestic footprint with the recent opening of 2 new branches in CALABARZON region.

Opened last July 8th, Maybank Batangas City along P. Burgos Street is at the center of growth and activity in this progressive industrial port city of Batangas. Maybank Imus was opened four days later in July 12th and is strategically located along bustling Aguinaldo Highway, Tanzang Luma, Imus, a city regarded as Cavite’s foremost banking center.

The two new branch openings further strengthens Maybank’s presence in South Luzon, now with 6 branches in key cities, in addition to Biñan and Sta. Rosa in Laguna; Lucena in Quezon; and Lipa City in Batangas.

Last month, Maybank Philippines kicked-off its branch expansion campaign with the opening of branches in Cebu Downtown and Iloilo-Jaro. Four new branches are scheduled to be opened in the coming weeks to complete the 8-branch blitz: Tacloban Branch in Leyte; Cabanatuan Branch in Nueva Ecija; Santiago Isabela Branch in the Cagayan Valley Region; and Cebu Lahug Branch in Cebu City. Maybank currently has 59 branches nationwide and hopes to cap the year with a total of 80 branches.
