Maybank Sponsors Ateneo Law OrSem 2013

Maybank Philippines Inc. (MPI) recently sponsored the Ateneo Law Freshmen Orientation Seminar 2013. Dubbed "OrSem 2013: Let the Games Begin", the event aimed to instil the right attitude and skills needed to survive law school.

One of Ateneo's most awaited events, the OrSem is the first major event for Ateneo law students. Incoming freshmen are briefed through a series of talks, interactive school tours, classroom simulations and culminating activities.

Featured guest speaker for the event was Maybanker and Ateneo law graduate, Atty. Maria Felicitas "Citas" V. Ele- Paulino, who talked about the advantages of being an Atenean Lawyer.

"An Ateneo Law School (ALS) education is a great investment. After your four years in this school, the possibilities are endless. Name it and it is yours. Being highly competent, competitive and capable of performing quality work, the Ateneo lawyer is much sought anywhere. As a matter of fact, certain law firms and companies hire only graduates from Ateneo Law School", shares Atty. Citas.

In her speech, Atty. Citas also mentioned the qualities of being an Atenean Lawyer that helped her in her Maybank career and expressed that her years of education in Ateneo Law were the most challenging and yet enriching experiences in her life.

MPI is engaging sponsorships of university events to expose Maybank as a supporter of student activities and create brand awareness and association among the leaders of the future. Aside from ALS, Maybank will also be present in activities during the first semester at Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines, among others.
