Three Golfers from the Philippines will be heading to Kuala Lumpur to play in the Maybank Corporate Golf Day in conjunction with the Maybank Malaysian Open 2013 in March. The three are winners of the first leg of Maybank Corporate Challenge - Regional circuit which will also see similar tournaments in Singapore and Indonesia in the coming weeks.

The Maybank Corporate Challenge - Regional kicked off on January 12 at the Mount Malarayat Golf and Country Club in Lipa City, Batangas. A total of 87 Maybank Philippines customers took part in the exclusive tournament which was also graced by Maybank Group Chairman Tan Sri Dato' Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor.

The winners were single handicap Andre Rafael Borromeo (H'Cap 5, 41 points), David Sobrepena (H'Cap 4, 39 points) and Simon Heo (H'Cap 9, 39 points). They earned themselves a special invitation to experience the Maybank Malaysian Open 2013 ‘live' at the exclusive Maybank Hospitality Marquee as well as a spot to play at the championship course in the Maybank Corporate Golf Day on March 25, 2013.

As a build-up to the 52nd edition of the Maybank Malaysian Open 2013 which will be held from March 21 - 24 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, the Maybank Corporate Challenge has been the much-awaited golf event for Maybank customers. It is a rare opportunity for customers to play in one of the regions' best courses after the championship event. This is the first year that Maybank is extending the opportunity to its valued regional customers. After the Philippines, the Maybank Corporate Challenge will be held in Singapore on February 2 and in Indonesia on February 3.
