Maybank Opens 55th Branch in Bajada, Davao City

Maybank Philippines, Inc. (MPI) recently opened the doors of its 2nd branch in Davao City and 55th branch in the Philippines. Named as Maybank Davao Business Center, Maybank's newest branch is located at the ground floor of HAI Global Building, Pryce Business Park along J.P. Laurel Avenue, Bajada, Davao City.

Maybank Davao Business Center is set up as a one-stop, full-service business hub housing not only a branch and auto lending center, but also satellite desks for mortgage, personal and salary loans, SME loans, as well as commercial and corporate loans, and transaction banking services. Situated in one of Davao's emerging business districts, the latest Maybank branch is also near the newly-opened Abreeza Mall and several prominent commercial establishments.

"The business center is envisioned to provide convenience for customers at a central location that is accessible," Richard Lim, Senior Vice President and Head for Retail Business said. "The Maybank experience is what differentiates us in the market and we want to bring this to more customer touch points in our branch network."

He added, "The first successful model has been set up in Cebu in 2011; after Davao, we intend to put up similar hubs in key cities nationwide as well as part of our master plan of opening 100 new branches by 2014."
