Maybank Philippines marked another milestone with the opening of its first La Union branch last Friday, February 14, 2014.

Located along Quezon Ave. in Brgy. Sevilla area, San Fernando, Maybank La Union is also the second branch to be opened this year and the 79th branch nationwide.

Fr. Noel Peter Lazo officiated the thanksgiving mass and blessing, while former San Fernando Mayor Mary Jane C. Ortega, Councilor Alfredo Pablo Ortega and wife Candace C. Ortega, and Bethany Hospital President Dr. Antonio Orencio led the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The progressive city of San Fernando, La Union has always been a preferred site for a new Maybank branch because of its strategic location. As the capital city of the province and regional center of the Ilocos Region, San Fernando serves as the financial, industrial and political center of La Union, and a promising growth hub for Maybank in the north.
