Customer Eligibility

You are eligible to open an EzySave+ account when you meet all the requirements below:

18 to 80 years old
Filipino citizen
Have any one of these valid Government IDs:

- UMID

- Driver's License

- SSS ID

- Passport

- Postal ID

- PRC ID

- HDMF (Pag-ibig)

- National ID/Philsys

- ePhilID(Paper)

Must not have an existing Maybank EzySave+ account
Must be a fully verified GCash accountholder
Must submit via GCash app an image of 3 specimen signatures signed on a piece of paper

Funding your EzySave+ Account

Deposit to your EzySave+ account by transferring funds from your GCash wallet to your EzySave+ for FREE anytime.

Upon account opening, your EzySave+ account has an aggregate deposit limit of Php100,000. To lift the aggregate deposit limit of Php100,000, please call our Customer Care at (02) 8588-3888 or visit your branch of account.

Availing your Free Life Insurance

Your EzySave+ account comes with a free life insurance coverage of up to Php1,000,000. To qualify, your Average Daily Balance (ADB) must be at least Php50,000. Insurance coverage is 2x of your previous month's ADB up to Php1,000,000. To claim, you may visit your branch of account.

Request for your Visa Debit Card

You may call Maybank's Customer Care at (02) 8588 3888 or visit a Maybank branch to request for your Maybank Visa Debit Card subject to a minimum deposit amout of Php10,000.00 at the time of request. Your debit card can either be delivered to your home address for free or picked up from your preferred branch within 25 business days from date of request. To activate your debit card, call the Customer Care hotline or visit your branch of account.

How can I open an isave account?
Just go to the App Store for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and Google Play Store for Android smartphones and tablets.
What are the requirements for opening iSave?
You must be a Filipino citizen, at least 16 years old. You must submit a photo of: Any of the following government IDs: Driver's License, Philippine ePassport, SSS ID, GSIS or UMID, Specimen signature on a piece of paper Yourself (selfie!)
Can I apply for an iSave in the Maybank website and branches?
You can only open iSave via the Maybank2U PH App.
How do I apply for iSave?
Step 1: Download the Maybank2U PH app from Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Huawei App Gallery. Step 2: Open the Maybank2U PH App, click "Get Started" and select "Open an iSave Account". Step 3: Scan your Government ID. Step 4: Take a selfie. Step 5: Take a photo of your signature, sign 3 times on a white piece of paper. Step 6: Fill out all the required information. Step 7: Submit application then nominate your username and password, security image and phrase, and security questions for your Maybank2U PH account. Note: If you are existing client with M2U internet banking account, please login to your Maybank PH app.
I am an existing Maybank client. Can I still open iSave?
Yes. Information from your existing account will be copied when you open an iSave via the Maybank2U PH App. If you have changes in your contact information such as mailing address, mobile number, email, etc., you should visit your branch of account first to update your information, prior to opening an iSave.
Can I apply for multiple iSave accounts?
No, you can only open one (1) iSave account.
How do I know the status of my iSave application?
You will receive an SMS informing about your iSave application. For successful applications, an email information about your iSave account will also be sent.
My iSave application was not successfully processed. What are the possible reasons?
You may have: Forgotten an image of your specimen signature Provided an unacceptable ID Submitted a blurred photo of your ID and/or signature
Can I reapply for iSave if my application was rejected?
Yes, you may reapply after one (1) calendar day.
Does iSave come with a Debit card?
Yes. For a minimum deposit of Php1,000, your Visa Debit Card will be delivered to the present address you provided in your account opening application within 5-7 banking days for Metro Manila and 10-15 banking days for provincial areas. NOTE: We are currently experiencing difficulties in the delivery of iSave Visa Debit Cards. In the meantime, you may request for a Visa Debit Card from any open Maybank branch near you. How can I activate my iSave Visa Debit Card?
You may call Maybank Customer Service at 8588-3888 for assistance or visit a Maybank branch near you.
How do I know my iSave Visa Debit PIN?
For security purposes, your Visa Debit PIN will only be sent by mail to your registered present address, separately from your Debit Card delivery.
I did not receive my Debit Card or PIN Mailer. What should I do?
You may call Maybank Customer Service at 8588-3888 to check the delivery status.
Does iSave come with a passbook?
iSave only comes with a Visa Debit Card. You can keep track of your transactions and account balance via the Maybank2U PH App or log-in to your Maybank2U online account via www.maybank.com.ph
