Etiqa's car insurance is designed to protect you should you be in an accident. It provides you financial assistance to pay for accidental loss and damage to the vehicle caused by accidental collisions, fire and lightning, theft and damage caused by natural catastrophes. It also provides assistance to cover liabilities that arises from damage to third-party vehicles, property, bodily injuries and death.

  • Vehicles covered are: Private vehicles - sedan, SUV, pick-up, van
  • Commercial vehicles - truck, bus, for hire, yellow plates and rainbow plates. ( Not available in online site. Manual processing is required.)

Own Damage

It pays for the damages on the insured vehicle caused by an accident while on the road.

Third-Party Damage

It pays for the damages caused by insured to the properties or vehicles.

Excess Bodily Injury

It provides cash assistance to the third-party person for the treatment of bodily injuries in excess of the limits of liability.

Auto Passenger Personal

It pays for the treatment of bodily injuries suffered by the driver and passengers of the insured vehicle.

Theft

It pays for the fair market value of the vehicle at the time of loss due to carnapping. It also pays for lost radio and magwheels due to theft.

Acts of God or Acts of Nature

Acts of God or Acts of Nature It pays for all the expenses for damages caused by natural disasters such as flood, typhoon, earthquake or other convulsion of nature.

24/7 Roadside Assistance

In the event that the covered vehicle is immobilized due to electrical/mechanical breakdown or accident, it shall arrange the transport of the vehicle to the nearest accredited repair facility.

Hospital Admission Assistance

It will take necessary hospital admission assistance in the event that the Beneficiary and/or other passengers in the Covered Vehicle are injured because of a car accident. Cost of the hospital expenses shall be for the account of the Beneficiary.

Hotel Accommodation Assistance

It will take necessary hospital admission assistance in the event that the Beneficiary and/or other passengers in the Covered Vehicle are injured because of a car accident. Cost of the hospital expenses shall be for the account of the Beneficiary.

Ambulatory Assistance

In the event of an accident involving the Covered Vehicle and upon request of the Beneficiary or any of the passengers of the Covered Vehicle, it will arrange for an ambulance service to transport the injured passenger from the place of accident to the nearest medical facility. Cost of ambulatory service shall be for the account of the Beneficiary except for the first one thousand (PHP 1,000.00) which may be reimbursed by the Beneficiary subject to the presentation of the Official Receipt.s

Driver on Demand

If the Beneficiary is under the influence of alcohol and is not fit to drive the Covered Vehicle based on his/her discretion or may not be feeling well for any reason, it shall arrange for the dispatch of alternative driver subject to some conditions.
