    Promotion Mechanics


    1. The EzySave+ 5% Bonus Cash Credits Promo (“Promo”) will run from September 23, 2022 to December 22, 2022 (“Promo Period”). PROMO EXTENDED UNTIL JANUARY 31, 2023, APPROVED BY DTI-FTEB, PER DTI FAIR TRADE PERMIT NO. FTEB-148800 series of 2022


    1. The Promo is open to qualified EzySave+ accountholders who:
      1. Have successfully opened an EzySave+ Account via the GCash app within the Promo Period
      2. Have been approved and fully verified* by both GCash and Maybank
      3. Have maintained an active EzySave+ within the Promo Period
      4. Have maintained an Average Daily Balance (ADB) of at least PHP0.01 and up to PHP3,000,000 for the Qualifying Period.


    1. Maybank will compute the final qualifying ADB of the accountholder by getting the average ADB within ninety (90) days from account opening date (“Qualifying Period”).


    1. The qualified accountholder will be awarded by Maybank with a one-time cash credit equivalent to 5% rate per annum (p.a.) of the computed 90-day ADB (“Qualifying ADB”) of the accountholder within fifteen (15) banking days after the qualifying period. The maximum 90-day ADB qualified for cash credit is Php3,000,000. Any balance exceeding the maximum will not earn cash credits. The corresponding withholding tax on cash credit will be paid by Maybank Philippines Inc. where applicable.


    1. The cash credit will be credited only to the EzySave+ account of the accountholder. In the event of account closure on the crediting date, the cash credit will be forfeited. 


    1. The qualified accountholder will receive an SMS after the cash credit has been successfully credited to his or her EzySave+ account.


    1. Maybank reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any accountholder that it determines to be tampering with the account opening process, or to be acting in breach or potential breach of the Promo Mechanics.


    1. In case of dispute in respect to accountholder’s eligibility, Maybank’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the accountholder’s eligibility for the Promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by Maybank at its discretion with concurrence with DTI.


    1. All EzySave+ account opening shall be subject to further verification and approval following Maybank’s processes, Product Terms and Conditions, and Deposit Contract.


    1. Maybank reserves the right, upon prior notice to qualified accountholders to amend, shorten, cancel, or discontinue the Promo. For the avoidance of doubt, any amendment, shortening, cancellation, or discontinuance of this Promo shall not entitle any of the Accountholders to any claim or compensation against Maybank for any losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of amendment, shortening, cancellation, or discontinuance of this Promo.
