    Terms and Conditions

     

    1. The Maybank Cashback Program is open to all Maybank Credit Cardholders (“Cardholders”) whose accounts are active and in good credit standing at the time of the crediting of cashback.
    2. Cashback ID (formerly Treats ID) will have two fields which contains:
    1. Cardholder’s last (4) digits of the credit card number and
    2. Date of birth of the Cardholder (in MMDDYYYY format).
    1. The Cashback ID of the Cardholder cannot be altered, shared, or transferred.
    2. The Cardholder must go to www.cashback.maybank.com.ph to choose an online store where he/she wishes to make a purchase using his/her Maybank credit card.
    3. After clicking his/her preferred online store, Cardholder must key in his/her unique Cashback ID.
    4. Cashback may vary per participating online merchant. Terms and Conditions per participating merchant may be found in each of the merchant’s page.
    5. Cardholders will receive the cashback within 60 calendar days from delivery and receipt of the item purchased and will be notified via his/her registered mobile number and/or email address of record.
    6. Cashback will be credited to the credit card account used for the purchase.
    7. The transaction of the Principal Credit Cardholder shall be treated separately from those of the Supplementary Credit Cardholder.
    8. The amount of cashback cannot be exchanged for other products or discounts and is not transferrable. It also cannot be paid to any person in any manner whatsoever, be used to settle or pay any other liability of any person, nor be applied in settlement of any Cardholder’s liabilities with the Bank.
    9. Maybank reserves the right to reverse the credited cashback once the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent.
    10. If a principal Cardholder’s credit card is upgraded/downgraded to any other Maybank Credit Card, terminated or cancelled at any time for any reason, whether by the principal credit Cardholder or by Maybank, the principal credit Cardholder and any supplementary credit Cardholder/s shall no longer be eligible to earn the cashback and all cashback accrued shall automatically be forfeited immediately after such upgrading/downgrading, the voluntary or involuntary cancellation of the card.
    11. Cardholder shall be charged with the cost of the cashback should the Cardholder cancel the qualifying transactions at a later date or if the transaction is found to be fraudulent or has been charged back.
    12. The terms and conditions may vary per merchant and may be found in the merchant’s page. Please review all merchant terms thoroughly.
    13. By participating in Maybank’s Cashback Program, the Cardholder agrees to the use of cookies. The cookies are used to improve browsing experience. Maybank does not have any control of the external site and should not be held liable/accountable for any negative events that may arise by visiting the site.

    What is Cashback?

    Cashback or commonly known as “rebate” means money back.

    Maybank Credit Card is giving you back a portion/percentage of your spending every time you make an online purchase through the Maybank Cashback website.

     

    How will I get the cashback?

    1. Access the Maybank Cashback website (https://cashback.maybank.com.ph).
    2. Choose the online store within the website where you wish to purchase and input your last four (4) digits of your credit card and your birthdate (“Cashback ID”).
    3. Choose the item you wish to buy and use your Maybank Credit Card at checkout.
    4. Wait for your cashback to be credited back to your Maybank Credit Card account*

    *cashback process may take up to 60 days from the original purchase date.

     

    What is my unique Cashback ID?

    Your Cashback ID (formerly Treats ID) will be last four (4) digits of the credit card in the 1st field and the birthdate of the Cardholder (in MMDDYYYY format) in the 2nd field.

    Example: First field – 1234

    Second field- 01311990

    I used to make purchases using my Treats ID, can I still use this or do I start using my unique Cashback ID?

    You can no longer use your old Treats ID, instead use your unique Cashback ID to make your purchases.

     

    Do I need to have a Maybank Credit Card to get the cashback?

    Yes. You need to have a Maybank Credit Card since the cashback will be directly credited to your Maybank Credit Card account. All your online transactions should also be made using your Maybank Credit Card to qualify for the cashback.

     

    How much cashback do I get?

    The cashback amount differs per online merchant, and can range from 1% to 15% cashback. Please check the cashback tiers for every store on each pop-up page generated by the Maybank Cashback website to know the amount of cashback you will be given.

     

    How long will it take for me to get my cashback?

    As long as the item/order purchased online is not returned once delivered and received, the cashback shall be reflected in your account within 30-60 days from the date of purchase, depending on the online merchant.

     

    Will my cashback expire?

    No. The cashback accumulated in your Maybank Credit Card account does not have an expiration.  But your cashback may not be claimed as cash.

     

    I‘m experiencing difficulty logging in or clicking the Maybank Cashback link provided to go to the Maybank Cashback website. What should I do?

    Why didn’t I get my Cashback?

     

    Your Cashback may not have been credited due to the following reasons:

    1. Your purchase was not made through the Maybank Cashback website (https://cashback.maybank.com.ph)
    2. You may not have followed the Merchant Store’s Terms & Conditions when ordering through the Maybank Cashback website. Every partner store has its own Terms and Conditions. If you do not adhere to these when ordering, no cashback will be given. You can access each partner store's Terms & Conditions on the pop-up pages generated by the Maybank Cashback website link.
    3. Your cashback may take up to 60 days to be processed, credited and reflected in your credit card account.
    4. You may have cancelled, returned, or exchanged of your order. Cashback is only given for successful orders and will not be credited for cancellations, returns or exchanges.
    5. You have ad blockers or have disabled allowing cookies on your browser.
    6. You did not use your Maybank Credit Card in purchasing online.

     

    If none of the abovementioned reasons applies to you, please submit a missing cashback inquiry to our service provider by emailing cashback-support@findshare.com.

     

    The amount of the cashback I received was incorrect. What should I do?

    For some merchants, the  cashback calculation may be based on a tiered system and not fixed.  The system may be based on value or a combination of required product purchase.  We recommend that you check the cashback tiers for every online store on each pop-up page (generated by the Maybank Cashback website) to know the amount of cashback you will be given before ordering.
