    MECHANICS:

    1. This promo is open to existing and new, individual and corporate clients*, with Maybank Premier 1 (MP1) Checking Account, subject to minimum deposit balance of Php100,000
      • Newly opened MP1 accounts, deposits should at least be Php100,000
      • Existing MP1 accounts, account should at least have a balance of Php100,000

      *Financial institutions are not qualified to join the promo.

    2. Incremental deposit ADB** from September 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020 will be given a bonus rate of 2.25% p.a. on top of the MP1 regular interest rate (see table below).

      **ADB is the sum of the daily ending balances of the account divided by the number of days of the month. For new accounts, ADB is the sum of daily ending balances divided by number of days the account has been opened.

      Bonus rate computation is done by multiplying the incremental ADB (current month ADB less August ADB) by 2.25% multiplied by the number of days the account is opened for that month divided by 365.

       

    3. Funds deposited must not be transferred or withdrawn from an existing Maybank account. Transfer of funds from another Maybank account will disqualify the MP1 account from earning the bonus rate. The Bank has the right to reverse the bonus interest credited if funds came from another Maybank account.
    4. Funds from a Maybank payroll account is eligible for this promo.
    5. Bonus interest will be credited every end of the month and is subject to applicable government tax.
